Metric Dowel Pins are solid headless pins manufactured to tight tolerances for use as guide pins, wrist pins and shafts, and alignment components. The dowels should be pressed into place as the force of impact can cause them to shatter. The tolerance classes are m6, h6 and h8. Pulling out the internal thread at one end of the positioning pin can be taken out of the blind hole, and the air can escape from the longitudinal plane or small groove. Dowels are available in plain steel, hardened and unhardened steel, and stainless steel; pull-out dowels are only available as plain steel. They are also known as parallel pins and parallel pins with internal thread.
