Description:
Extractable dowels have a thread tapped in one end to facilitate removal from blind holes. An air release flat is ground along the full length of the pin to overcome the problem of pressure buildup by trapped air. Hardness: 55–62 HRC, HV 550–650. Extractable pins may or may not have a flat to vent pressure when pulling. Also known as parallel pins.
